One of the most prestigious universities in the country, the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is in the news for the wrong reasons.
An MMS showing two hostelers in ‘compromising position’ has rocked the university, prompting the administration to investigate the scandal.
According to sources, the video was reportedly made to make money by exploiting the girl. The video was shot some 6 months back but came to the administration’s notice just a week back.

The man in the video is a student of Korean language in the university. Sources say the victim is married and settled.
Reports say the video was shot in a room in Tapti hostel in the campus. A third person was involved who made and distributed the CDs.
JNU chief proctor HB Bohidar is investigating the matter and the report is expected to be out by next week.
